Terms of use

In short: you're welcome to use DugOut to run your teams. The app, its code, design and name belong to P. Knight, and you may not copy, change or sell them.

1. These terms

These terms apply to the DugOut app and the website at dugoutapp.online. DugOut is made and run by P. Knight ("we", "us"). By using DugOut, you agree to these terms.

2. Your licence to use DugOut

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use DugOut to coach and manage your own teams, including for a club or school. This licence can be ended as described in section 9.

3. What you may not do

Unless we agree in writing, you may not:

• copy, modify, adapt or translate DugOut's code, design, text or graphics
• reverse engineer or decompile DugOut, except to the extent the law allows despite this term
• sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute or publish DugOut or any part of it
• host, mirror or frame DugOut on another website or in another app
• use DugOut's code or design to build a product that competes with it
• remove or change any copyright, ownership or licence notices
• use the DugOut name or logo for anything other than referring to this app

4. Ownership

DugOut, including its code, design, layout, text, graphics and screenshots, is owned by P. Knight and protected by copyright. DugOut and the DugOut logo are trade marks of P. Knight. Using DugOut doesn't give you any ownership of it.

5. Your information

Everything you enter stays on your device, as explained in our privacy policy. You're responsible for:

• keeping backups, since we can't recover information from your device
• having any permission your club requires to record players' details

6. Pitch counts, rules and player welfare

DugOut is a tool to help coaches. Pitch counts, rest days, eligibility and lineup suggestions depend on what you enter, including your league's rules. You remain responsible for following your league's rules and for your players' welfare.

7. Changes to DugOut

We may update, change or stop offering DugOut or any feature at any time. Updates download automatically when you next open the app.

8. Consumer law and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can't be excluded.

Subject to that, DugOut is provided as is, and to the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any loss arising from using DugOut, including loss of information stored on your device.

9. Ending your licence

If you break these terms, your licence to use DugOut ends automatically, and you must stop using it and delete any copies you've made.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and using DugOut after a change means you accept the updated terms.
